Max es asignado a la Casa Blanca mientras que Butch, el perro del servicio secreto, está de baja por maternidad. Max conoce a TJ, un niño de 12 años que es el hijo del Presidente. Como su padre es muy importante, él se tiene que esforzar para llevar una vida normal. Durante la visita del Presidente de Rusia, que viene con su hija Alex, TJ acompaña a Alex y se hace amigo de ella. Cuando se meten en problemas será Max el que venga al rescate. Max is assigned to the White House while Butch, the secret service dog, is on maternity leave. He meets TJ, a 12 year old boy, who is the President's son.
