Luke Perry (BEVERLY HILLS 90210) stars in this original Sci-Fi Channel disaster film. When the enormous plates that make up the Earth´s crust begin shifting, huge cracks begin to open up, threatening the world with immanent destruction. It´s up to a team of highly-trained government scientists to descend deep underground, armed with explosives 40 times greater than those which blew up Hiroshima, and do a little rearranging. But when evidence surfaces that the disaster had less than natural causes, and might be the result of government experiments, a cover-up is added to the team´s to-do list.
